The Face-To-Face Project is the only program in Northern Virginia providing comprehensive, targeted and professional HIV/STI prevention education to youth. The program is flexible and tailored to each Northern Virginia school system requirements and guidelines as it educates youth about high-risk behaviors.
This model has been successful and proven within Northern Virginia reaching students in the 7th – 12th grades. It seeks to increase access to HIV Counseling, testing and referral and provide linkages to need care and intervention for youth. The curriculum is a basic HIV/AIDS 101 class offered with appropriate age level information accompanied by a Person Living with AIDS to speak to the personal challenges of living with the disease.
