Ryan White Program
The Ryan White Program provides linkage to HIV medical care, treatment and other support services to people living with HIV. Once enrolled, the NovaSalud team of in-house certified Community Health Workers (CHW) are available to assist in service navigation. Our Community Health Workers link clients to needed services, social support; and advocating for individual client needs.

HIV Testing Prevention Program
At NovaSalud, our experienced Health Educators provide comprehensive testing and counseling to community members. HIV and HCV rapid tests are available within 15 minutes and chlamydia and gonorrhea testing results are available within 5 business days. Please see appointments page or call us at (703) 533-1858.

Comprehensive Harm Reduction Program
NovaSalud’s CHR program incorporates comprehensive strategies, and apply evidence-based interventions. These include methods to reduce negative consequences of substance use, including overdose fatalities, HIV/HCV transmission, and other infections.
Our program includes:
- Fentanyl Testing Strips
- HIV, Hepatitis C, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Testing
- Linkage to HIV/HCV treatment
- Referrals to substance use treatment programs
- Referrals to mental health services
- Referrals to Hepatitis A and B vaccination
- Referrals to overdose treatment and education
